Darran

Darran Callaghan is married to Corinne and they have two young boys, Frazer and Rowan. Darran was brought up in a Christian home and became a Christian in his early teens on a youth weekend away with his church.

He has been at Twydall Evangelical church since 2000, after moving down from St Helens in Merseyside, having completed his degree in History, Theology and Religious Studies and Primary PGCE at Chester and Liverpool universities. It was at Chester University that Darran met Corinne, who lived in Gillingham, and was already a member of the church.

He is now a Deputy Head Teacher at a local primary school.

At Twydall Evangelical Church Darran plays the guitar and leads the Worship Group regularly on a Sunday. He is also the Sunday School Coordinator together with Corinne and helps out with the Friday Kids Club. Darran became one of the leaders of the church in 2008.

Likes: Coffee and cake, especially with friends.

Dislikes: Sharks and spiders.
